“There aren’t any we’ve discussed yet.” Niall told Digital Spy. “We’d love to do a collaboration but you’ve got to find the right person to do it with. It would be weird if we did something with Eminem. You have to think outside the box! Can you imagine One Direction and Eminem?! That would be hilarious.”
1D and Eminem would certainly be outside the box! We love that Niall likes to think about such unique people for 1D to team up with and it got us thinking about who else would make for a unique (and potentially hilarious) collab with the boys. Taylor Swift
How about Taylor Swift? Sure, she’s not completely “outside the box” since she already loves 1D. But we think her country twang would add an interesting sound to One Direction’s pop hits.
Noah Guthrie
Sure Noah Guthrie isn’t super well-known, but after the amazing cover he did of LMAFO’s “Sexy and I Know It”, wouldn’t you like to see his sultry voice combined with the 1D boys’? We know we would.
Nicki Minaj
Since Niall already suggested a rapper with Eminem, we thought we’d take it a step further and pair 1D up with a great FEMALE rapper for an added difference in sound. We admit this one might sound a little cooky on paper, but maybe her quick raps would add a whole new dimension to One Direction’s sound.
