Nickelodeon’s “Victorious” star Matt Bennett made sure to keep his fans up to date on everything he’s been up to lately by writing them a long letter! Read it below, and let us know if there are any surprises!
“Good morning, friends. Matt Bennett here to give you a quick update on everything I’ve been working on. There’s a lot of fantastic things going on in the Mott Bonnott universe that you should be excited about, so here goes nothing.
First off, the Warm Fuzzies Vol. 1 EP is complete. It came out pretty damn good, if I may say so myself.
It will be released on May 20th!
You’ll be able to listen to it for free on Bandcamp, but, if you want to download it, it’ll be $5.
Half of all the proceeds I make off of Warm Fuzzies will go to St. Judes Children’s Hospital. The other half will go straight into recording Warm Fuzzies Vol. 2. So by buying this EP, you’re both donating to charity and investing in music future generations will love and adore. You’re so thoughtful.
If you decide you absolutely must download it for free, I get it. I’ve downloaded my fair share of music in my day. No feelings will be hurt. However, if you enjoy it, please make sure to send it to your friends, post it on your Facebook or Twitter, whatever you think is right. It will really help me out and will get you Mega Mott Bonnott Karma points!
Next order of business! My friend Andy Holton (who shot and edited CARaoke) are working on the first music video for Warm Fuzzies Vol. 1. We’re going to edit it up and have that ready for you soon.
Plans for CARaoke 2 are underway. It may take a hot second to get it all organized but get excited. It’s going to be fun.
Due to the smash success of the first two, there will be many more This Show Is Your Show!’s. If you live in the Los Angeles area, try to make it out to the next one on May 22nd. If you don’t live in the Los Angeles area, there will be more Youtubes of the show (youtube.com/user/mottbonnott). I will be handing out custom Warm Fuzzies at these shows, so make sure you get here and pick one up!

And finally, I have a new song premiering on an upcoming episode of Victorious called “The Blonde Squad.” We also did a studio cut of the song so it may be featured on the Victorious Vol. 2 Soundtrack.
