Liam is such a romantic, but girls don’t always respond to his romantic ways right away, believe it or not. While One Direction was promoting their new book, Dare To Dream on Good Morning America, Liam shared some of his biggest love woes.
Are you ready for this one? Liam once had to ask a girl out 22 times! In the book he wrote, “I really like one girl called Emily and asked her out 22 times, but she always said no. Finally I sang to her and then she said she’d go out with me, but she dumped me the next day. My friends used to wind me up and pretend that girls liked me when they didn’t, so I’d ask them out and they’d say no, which was mortifying.”
We can’t imagine saying no to a date with anyone in 1D, let alone saying no 22 times, but we know Liam has had better luck in love since then. We’re not alone in the whole disbelief thing; during the interview Louis could not believe that Liam asked the girl out 22 times.
